With 30 years of competitive experience, Sauber is one of the most renowned and traditional teams in Formula 1. The Swiss racing team is currently in a partnership with Alfa Romeo.

Sauber will be responsible for planning and executing race operations during the Formula 1 season. With its new collaboration with Audi, the power unit will be developed at Audi’s Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg an der Donau, while Sauber will produce the Formula 1 car at its site in Hinwil (Switzerland). Development of the power unit, which consists of the MGU-K, battery, control systems and a V6 hybrid engine, is already in full swing at Audi’s racing facility.

Following the announcement of its entry into Formula 1 at the end of August, Audi has now confirmed its new partner in the sport.

Now with a new seventh-generation under its belt the new 7-Series, which debuted in Singapore earlier this week, fuses controversial styling with a hearty smorgasbord of tech gadgets to offer customers an elevated next-generation luxury experience. The model has taken design cues from other existing BMW luxury models, including the X7 and i7.

According to the Bavarian automaker, this design language will continue to develop with future iterations, providing more distinction between these high-end models and other more “affordable” BMW models.

Whether you love or hate the new design of the new BMW 7 Series, it is definitely an imposing design choice by the designers. Striking features include the new twin circular headlights, with a split design, and a gigantic BMW kidney grille, both signature BMW design elements.

Adaptive LED Headlights come as standard, with BMW’s Selective Beam assistant and custom light effects when unlocking and locking the car. To give the lights a “shimmering” effect, individual LEDs are integrated with crystals from Swarovski, arranged in L-shapes. Like the front end, the rear also features slim LED light units.

The 488 Pista Spider sets a new benchmark for Ferrari, for spider performance, made possible thanks to the adoption of the most powerful Ferrari V8 engine ever which was recently named Best Engine in the World for the third consecutive year at the 2018 International Engine of the Year awards. The 3,902 cc twin-turbo V8 unleashes 710 bhp @ 8,000 rpm/770 Nm @ 3,000 rpm and combines that power with increasing torque at all engine speeds for continuous and unending acceleration all the way to the redline. Standstill to 100 km/h takes 2.85 seconds, while 0-200 km/h needs only 8 seconds; maximum speed is rated at 340 km/h.
