For our purposes, ease of understanding and avoiding repetitious mouthfuls, we’re just gonna call it the Tonale PHEV instead.

But lets be honest here. How many people actually do plan to buy a compact crossover like the trio and plan to keep it long term? Peugeot's electric concept car establishes a new lap record on Germany's Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit...for electric cars.


The X3 is available in two variants, the xDrive28i and xDrive35i. While the straight six-cylinder petrol engine in the former features Valvetronic and Double-Vanos, the latter gets BMW's TwinPower Turbo, direct injection and Valvetronic technologies. As such, the xDrive35i produces 306bhp and 400Nm of torque while the xDrive28i generates 258bhp and 310Nm.
