Yours truly took the Huracan All-Wheel Drive on a quick spin around the Marina Bay area, and it must be said this 610 bhp/560 Nm 5.2-litre V10 sports car impresses with its smooth and predictable power delivery, lovely exhaust note and addictive engine roar. Build quality is faultless to say the least, and the cockpit is one of the best place to be in, for something costing just below a million dollars, without options.

Second generation Panamera is now locally available in four variants


The S3 sedan - which is also available in Sportback form - is a handsome car, with a sporty single-frame grill with matt grey inlays contrasting against the black paint. The lower air inlets have slightly more pronounced lines and a RS-styled honeycomb grill, giving the new S3 a meaner stance. While the black exterior is certainly safe, perhaps a more impactful colour for the test car would have been nice - Misano Red maybe?

Audi’s refreshed S3 has grown up in the looks department. Resembling its ‘older’ A4 sibling, it is also nearly as comfortable to pilot and sit in. Let’s go for a drive.


Besides the attention-grabbing exterior, the other key point of the 720S is the new M480T engine. The 4.0-litre engine, which has 41 percent new parts (namely piston, crankcase and turbochargers) content compared to the 3.8-litre engine, generates 710 bhp (720 PS) and 770 Nm of torque. Paired to a 7-speed SSG dual-clutch 'box, standstill to 100 km/h takes 2.9 seconds; 0-200 km/h is executed in 7.8 seconds. The car’s maximum speed is rated at 341 km/h.
