The design of the car is recognisable as a Kia thanks to key signature design elements, such as the ‘tiger-nose’ grille. Designed in Europe, in collaboration with Kia’s Korean design studio, the body blends sharp horizontal feature lines with softer sculpted surfaces; the Stonic’s ‘Targa’style roof enables buyers to choose a two-tone paint finish, inspired by the design of the 2013 Kia Provo concept. It will be available in Europe with up to 20 two-tone colour combinations, with a choice of up to five distinctive colours for the roof.

The sixth generation Polo has grown, making it larger than its predecessor in all of its dimensions. This has resulted in more interior space and a significantly increased boot volume, which has grown from 280 to 351-litres. In addition, the new Polo, with its length of 4,053 mm, is only slightly shorter than the fourth generation Golf; but it surpasses that Golf when it comes to its wheelbase (53 mm longer) and space for the driver, passengers and luggage (21-litres more).

The QX50 concept - the brand’s vision for a next-generation premium crossover - makes its Asia debut this week at Auto Shanghai


The S3 sedan - which is also available in Sportback form - is a handsome car, with a sporty single-frame grill with matt grey inlays contrasting against the black paint. The lower air inlets have slightly more pronounced lines and a RS-styled honeycomb grill, giving the new S3 a meaner stance. While the black exterior is certainly safe, perhaps a more impactful colour for the test car would have been nice - Misano Red maybe?

The new Renault Megane looks undeniably good in this new skin, but does it have the substance to match?


The new car will be based on the New Generation i30, which was launched last year. The racing version is designed to take advantage of the best qualities of the road-going model, which went through its own rigorous testing plan, including mileage on the Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.Work on the design began at Hyundai Motorsport in September last year; building and development of the cars will also be completed at the company’s headquarters in Alzenau, Germany. The creation of this new project continues the work started by the Customer Racing department on the New Generation i20 R5 rally car which showed the high-performance, dynamic side of Hyundai to a wider audience.In line with current TCR regulations, the car will be powered by a two-litre turbocharged engine (from within the Hyundai range), and fitted with a six-speed gearbox and 100-litre fuel tank. The car is scheduled to begin testing in early April, while the first deliveries to customers are planned for December.

Vanda Electrics has engaged Williams Advanced Engineering, the technology and engineering services division of the Williams Group — which also includes Williams Martini Racing — as its technical partner to build the Dendrobium concept and assist in future project development. The division specialises in race-bred aerodynamics, composites, batteries and electric drivetrains. Marking the latest step in Vanda Electrics’ global strategy to revolutionise zero emissions vehicles, the Dendrobium follows on from a commercial vehicle (Ant Truck) and e-scooter (Motochimp). Further Dendrobium details will be revealed in the coming months.

Global Debut: Singapore's First Hypercar

The all-electric, zero-emission two-seater Dendrobium concept hyper car will make its global debut at this March's Geneva Motor Show


The company is also dropping its 3.7-liter V6 engine, which officials say account for roughly 15 percent of sales, in favor of the turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost and 5.0-liter V8. Ford’s new 10-speed automatic transmission, which debuted last year on the F-150, will come as an option with both engines too.
