SingTel, Title Sponsor of the Formula 1â„¢ Singapore Grand Prix unveiled a new race car simulator that heightens the racing experience by introducing three additional motion cues.


But can it handle as well as its elder sibling? With a chassis that is not as well-balanced as the Golf GTI's, the Polo GTI does seem a bit suspect in handling when we drove it through the twisty bits. The steering of the Polo GTI as compared to its lesser Polo siblings feels a lot more weighted, giving you decent feedback, but for a car with sporty aspirations, it does seem a bit lacking. Steering the car is easy, with the car responding to directional inputs in a perfunctory manner with nary a hint of enthusiasm. This lack of enthusiasm I am afraid is unbecoming of a hot hatch. Also, with the spirited swerving came the slight body roll which can be a tad unnerving, but to be fair, the Polo GTI managed to fight the initial lean and stayed on course as directed ably. The same can also be said of the car's braking, which can be improved on as it felt 'under servoed', I am not expecting a dentures popping kind of braking, but a little more initial bite on the brakes can't go wrong for this car.

The NUS FSAE (Formula-Society of Automotive Engineers) team is a group of engineering students who design, build and race an open-wheel open-cockpit Formula race cars.


Team McLaren put on a strong performance, with Lewis putting pressure on Team Red Bull Racing and closing the time gap within a second. Although Hamilton could deploy KERS and the DRS, the performance advantage of the Red Bull car kept Lewis in a close second place. Jenson Button made it a McLaren 2-3 finish after climbing from 10th position.

To get higher octane from premium fuel, most will add a bottle of octane booster. VP Racing has a strong reputation with fuels and its high octane formulas are very popular in racing. Adding their C5 Octane Booster to a tank of fuel will increase the octane ratings by 3.3 RON, thanks to the effective MMT agent (Methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl), which is proven to deliver the greatest octane boost. The C5 Octane Booster is capable of boosting octane up to eight numbers for increased performance while providing lead lubrication. Swiss tuner FAB Design have expanded their Mercedes-only programme to now include the FAB Exclusive Line. The new Porsche Panamera, showcased at the Geneva Motor Show, is the first car off the line.


The new bull features a carbon fibre monocoque chassis that only weighs 1,575kg, yet it provides extreme torsional stiffness. Combined with the new twelve-cylinder 6.5 litre V12 engine, producing 700 hp and 690Nm of torque, the super car dashes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and maxes out at 350 km/h.

This search is open out to females age 18 to 30 years old who have a distinct passion for speed! The search was recently conducted through auditions held at various local universities and public areas. In addition, an online campaign via website and Facebook as well as local radio station Power 98 reached out to the ladies with passion in motor sports. The search began on 14 February 2011 at National University Singapore, followed by 15 February 2011 at Singapore Institute of Management, 17 February 2011 at Singapore Management University and ended with a public search at Parco Bugis Junction on 19 February 2011.
