In Class B, Francis Tjia took his second series victory of the weekend and his career, with Pauian Archiland Team’s Jeffrey Lee of Chinese Taipei and Team Kangshun’s Ringo Chong of Singapore following him across the line. Chong was a man on a mission, and he managed to keep up in second position behind Tjia by the end of the opening lap. But alas, Jeffrey Lee was hot on Chong's trail, and the Taipei driver got by the Singaporean and held on to second until the flag. Having wrapped up its most successful season since its debut in 2003, with record grids and the signature on-track excitement which has earned it an unrivalled reputation, the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia is already planning to build on its phenomenal success in 2011.

Menzel clinches 2010 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia title in Zhuhai!

Misano is back on the calendar for the Italian series on 10 July, while the European runners will be tackle the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit on 7 August. The North American serie will run over six rounds held in the United States and Canada, apart from the extra seventh event which as usual sees competitors race at the Finali Mondiali Ferrari.

Clean Energy Expo Asia 2010 continues to pave the way for new opportunities in renewable energy.

With no sleep, I was so stressed and exhausted and I had to plan my breaks strategically so that my five-minute break would help me endure the next six hours.” “Whenever I was feeling drowsy and sleepy, my wife would be shouting and calling out to me, to keep me alert,” he added. Mr Glenn Tan, Group Chief Executive of Motor Image Group, and Miss Florence Lian, Managing Director of MediaCorp Radio presented the coveted prize, a Subaru Impreza 2.5 MT sedan worth S$98,800 (without COE) to a surprisingly still-energetic Mr Lim. For the first time, this year, the runner-up did not walk away empty-handed. Mr Jonid received a cash prize of S$5,000 for being the runner-up.

The Subaru Impreza Challenge 2010 came to an emotional close at 4.17pm, with 45-year-old technician, Aloysius Lim, emerging victorious.

Specialist engineers from Ford and M-Sport have co-operated closely in the development of this 1.6-litre engine, with highly-respected French tuner Pipo Moteur bringing additional expertise to the power plant.

Although the clouds stayed away during the race, the track was still wet from rain earlier in the morning. Starting from pole, Menzel pulled away, with O’Young behind him. Starting from fifth on the grid, Baird leapt into third place at the start, passing Avila and Lee. On the third corner Lee got by Avila, setting the final order for the top five.

Despite public demonstrations and transport strikes that threatened to derail the peace in France, the Paris Motor Show clocked up 1,263,467 in visits.

The new Wrangler AT/SA also comes with an enhanced silica tread compound that extends tread life and provides up to 20% more mileage than its previous version. Also, the Wrangler AT/SA has been designed with a specific bead area configuration that ensures that the tyre sits firmly on the rim reducing rim slippage for minimal balancing throughout the life of the tyre. The enhanced silica tread compounds, in combination with the highly bladed tread design, provides additional traction on all surfaces regardless of dry or wet conditions. The Kevlar overlay and unique Durawall Sidewall compound delivers maximum strength that can only be found in Goodyear tyres.

New And Improved Goodyear Wrangler AT/SA

Goodyear Malaysia has recently introduced the new and improved range of all-terrain SUV and 4X4 tyre - the Wrangler AT/SA.

This took the pressure off Hoshino in the pole-starting car No. 3 and enabled him to build up a more than 10-second lead by the 10th lap of the race. The close dogfight for second place between the cars behind fell to an even slower pace as the GT500 leaders caught and passed them. The resulting string of GT300 cars caught behind second place allowed No. 3 (Hoshino) to run away in the lead. On the 29th lap, Hoshino brought his car No. 3 in for the routine pit stop. Before the start, the team had been considering a no-tyre-change strategy, but with a margin of lead this big, they were able to change all four tyres and send their second-stint driver, Masataka Yanagida, back onto the track in about 30 seconds. At this point, many teams had not yet made their pit stops, but when all had finished their pit stops by lap 35, No. 3 was in the lead again with a considerable margin. By the time the GT500 class had finished the race on their 53rd lap, the GT300 class was finishing on its 49th lap. For the No. 3 TOMICA Z team (Kazuki Hoshino/Masataka Yanagida) this was their first win of the season.
