I’d dare say the combination of a strong power output and sublime handling almost makes this A5 quite S5-like! I enjoyed driving it more than I did the 3.0-litre S4.

Premiering in September 2017 at the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt, the refreshed BMW i3 and new BMW i3s enable drivers to enjoy locally emission-free mobility with the added benefit of instantaneous power delivery. Both models draw their energy from a 33 kWh lithium-ion high-voltage battery (an increase from the original i3’s 22 kWh battery), offering a range of up to 300 km. First introduced in the Audi Q7 in 2015, the 3D sound technology has now evolved to include the rear compartment of the car. Two full-range loudspeakers in the A-pillars, and two more in the headlining above the rear seats provide the spatial dimension of height and intensify the surround sound into the perfect stereophonic experience. Using an algorithm developed in partnership with the Fraunhofer Institute, the stereo or 5.1-channel recordings are used to calculate the information for the third dimension, and process it for the four 3D loudspeakers.

Finally, the long-awaited GT Sport, the latest iteration of the PS Gran Tourismo series has an official release date.


Classic roadster design cues are featured on the Concept Z4, such as a long wheelbase, low-slung and stretched silhouette and a compact rear end. The outline of the car follows a wedge shape, with a shorter bonnet and crisp overhangs at the front, and large domes that integrate the rollover bars stretching out rearwards — allowing the Concept Z4 to exude dynamism even when standing still.
