The S3 sedan - which is also available in Sportback form - is a handsome car, with a sporty single-frame grill with matt grey inlays contrasting against the black paint. The lower air inlets have slightly more pronounced lines and a RS-styled honeycomb grill, giving the new S3 a meaner stance. While the black exterior is certainly safe, perhaps a more impactful colour for the test car would have been nice - Misano Red maybe?

Historically one of Singapore’s most popular family sedans, the all-new 10th-generation Honda Civic has now arrived, with a radically sportier look and for the first time, a turbocharged engine.


The new Touran has gone wider, lower and expanded its interior space and cargo capacity. It has also shaved some weight and features an efficient direct-injection turbocharged 1.4 TSI engine with 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, enabling the 7-seater to hit the 0-100 km/h dash in only 8.9 seconds.

Volvo Cars shows their sporty side by releasing performance-inspired R-Design models of the new S90 saloon and V90 estate


The similar, new 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder flat engine seen in the 718 Boxster are being deployed in the 718 Cayman. As a result, both coupé and roadster have an identical engine output for the first time - the entry-level version starts with 300 hp. The S model has more, delivering 350 hp courtesy of a bigger 2.5 litre engine; it gets 25 hp more power compared to the predecessor models.
