This is the seventh category win in a row at the International Engine of the Year Awards for Audi TFSI technology and the second year in a row that the Audi 2.5 litre TFSI has won the award. Between 2005 and 2009, the Audi 2.0-litre TFSI engine has won the award in the 1.8 to two litre category.

Adding their C5 Octane Booster to a tank of fuel will increase the octane ratings by 3.3 RON, thanks to the effective MMT agent (Methylcyclopentadienyl manganese tricarbonyl), which is proven to deliver the greatest octane boost. The C5 Octane Booster is capable of boosting octane up to eight numbers for increased performance while providing lead lubrication. Increased fuel octane helps to eliminate pre-ignition and detonation, which translates into more horsepower and torque. More than just increasing octane ratings, it also provides upper cylinder lubrication especially for older engines and protects it from valve seat recession.

Frankfurt To Host ROC 2011

The 24th Race Of Champions will be held on the weekend of December 3-4, 2011 at the Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt, Germany.


The Austrian energy drink company, which is fast gaining in popularity amongst Formula One aficionados thanks to the double championship winning feat of Red Bull Racing in 2010 and the perfect start to the 2011 campaign by world champion Sebastian Vettel, is expecting crowds upwards of 50,000 spectators to turn up for this show car event. On 22 April, motor sports enthusiasts can also expect the festivities to start at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza, where the Red Bull Speed Street event will be based. One can expect Audi and Infiniti cars on display, as well as Red Bull Racing merchandise on sale, while Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Singapore will be setting up a gaming area featuring the Red Bull X2010 super car in its PS3 game GT5 alongside four units of F1 simulators courtesy of Singapore GP, making the event a real motor racing extravaganza.

Formula One Is Coming To Orchard Road This April!

The public can now catch a first glimpse of the F1 show car outside the Singapore Marriott Hotel this weekend.


As the field came through the first lap it was the No. 38 Lamborghini in the lead from the No. 11 Exim Bank Team China Corvette of Mike Hezemans and Nicky Catsburg. The field remained tightly bunched however with less than four seconds covering the top eight after five laps, and the order condensed further three laps later when the Safety Car came out. Peter Dumbreck had dived down the inside of the No. 40 Marc VDS Ford GT and looked to have the line, but spun as the Ford refused to cede ground and was collected by the helpless No. 9 Belgian Racing Ford GT - the resulting damage causing a lengthy Safety Car spell.
