With more than 180,000 DS line models sold worldwide since launch, Citroën is naturally keen to keep the adrenalin pumping from the success of the DS3 Racing with the DS4 Racing Concept.


For most part, the Veloster drives very well. The steering feels accurate, there’s little body roll, the brakes are strong and assuring, the gearbox swaps between cogs smoothly even when you’re doing it the “+/-“ way. And there’s good composure while roving bumpy roads at speed. Importantly, with or without traction control working, the front suspension does a grand job of transferring all the power to the road without undue tricks (what understeer?).

Ever seen a horde of Suzuki Swifts thunder down the highway? Last saturday was one such day that saw more than 70 Suzuki Swift and Swift Sport owners convoy down the ECP for a rather special meet-up.


EDIFICE has been designated as the Official Watch Partner for the 2012 and 2013 seasons, and the Casio logo will continue to appear on racing suits worn by Vettel and Webber, as well as on the team wear. The logo will also stay on the nose sections of the team’s race cars. In addition to using team images in EDIFICE advertising, Casio plans to work again with Red Bull Racing to release special collaborative watch models. These global marketing activities are expected to further enhance the EDIFICE brand image.

The Citroen driver had his work cut out after being given a one-minute penalty for an early check-in on Day One and started the final day over 47 seconds behind team-mate and race leader Sebastien Ogier. The seven-time world champion forced his way in front of second-placed Mikko Hirvonen in the day's first stage and by Stage 18, he had reduced Ogier's lead to 21 seconds after the leader encountered problems during Stage 17, most significantly problems with his power steering.

Sébastien Loeb Thrills Argentina!

Citroën drivers Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia dropped time in the final stages to hand victory to team-mates Sébastien Loeb and Daniel Elena on the very last stage.


Right from the start, it was a relatively trouble-free run from pole to chequered flag for Imperatori, with the exception of a hairy moment when the race leader caught up with back markers in the latter stages of the 12-lap race. However behind him, it was a repeat of Round 3's white-knuckle battle between Sawa and Avila. Avila got away well from the second row and, as Sawa challenged Imperatori for the lead off the line, the Macau racer was able to charge round the outside and into second, albeit briefly. The Japanese ace reclaimed the position by turn four, and from there Avila relentlessly piled on the pressure. The trio were nose to tail in the early stages before the lightning-quick Imperatori pulled out a modest gap.

The No. 1 Vita4One Ferrari 458 took its first victory in the Blancpain Endurance Series at Navarra in Spain, finishing 17 seconds ahead of the Belgian Audi Club Audi R8 LMS.

Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, today announced a new partnership with V8 Supercars to become the official international airline for the thriving sport.


Toshiki Yoshioka found the podium again after a one year hiatus and placed in third beating John Russakoff in the consolation round. The finals pitted Falken Tire teammates Daijiro Yoshihara and Darren McNamara. With consistent driving Yoshihara again found the podium this season and won his second consecutive victory at Road Atlanta. With this victory Yoshihara moves into first place overall in the Pro Championship standings and takes the lead in the chase for the Tires.com Triple Crown.

At the flag it was Andrea Piccini who took the first win for the No. 4 Hexis AMR Aston Martin DB9, taking the lead in the Driver's Championship for himself and Christian Hohenadel in the process. Hohenadel and Piccini now have 61 points to Marc Basseng's and Markus Winkelhock on 57. Darren Turner and Stefan Mücke are third on 56 points.
