The new S$1.3 million circuit features a 545-metre long track with 11 turns, consisting of a combination of sweeping corners, a hairpin and a chicane near the end of the lap. The 8-metre wide track, currently the widest in Singapore, even has multiple overtaking points that makes for an amazingly fun and safe circuit.

In this extremely important two-day test, laps were completed by all six official Lamborghini Squadra Corse drivers involved in this year's Blancpain Endurance Series. Fabio Babini, Jeroen Mui and Andrew Palmer joined the  track on Wednesday while Adrian Zaugg, Mirko Bortolotti and Giovanni Venturini were all out on the circuit .In a demanding session which involved more than 45 cars, the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 demonstrated its potential as it covered an impressive number of laps. The Huracan GT3's next outing will be in Vallelunga between 1st to 2nd April for a final test before the Monza opening round on 12 April 2015.

We start off with one of the cars most eagerly anticipated by the average enthusiast, something that mere mortals can actually afford - the new Honda Civic Type R. When the previous-generation FD and FN Civic Type Rs ended production in 2011 due to tightening emissions regulations, we weren't sure if we'd see another zingy, righ-revving Honda Type R again. Sadly, we won't. But luckily, instead of throwing in the towel, Honda has adapted with the times, and decided to turbocharge the Civic Type R, making it cleaner and meaner in the process. How much meaner exactly? Well, how does outputs of 306 bhp and 400 Nm @ 2500 rpm, a top speed of 270 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 5.7s and Nurburgring FWD record time of 7m 50.6s sound to you? Certainly puts the 'hot' in hot hatch for us!

Handling wise, the Captur feels relatively tight and assuring with predictable body movements despite standing 100 mm taller than the Clio. The T-GDi’s single-scroll turbocharger is paired with an electric waste-gate motor, which improves the turbocharger’s performance with a highly efficient air scavenging strategy. As well as scavenging clean air for the engine to re-use for combustion, it is able to open the waste-gate at the same time to improve waste air flow. This innovative system allows for greater low-end torque, more immediate engine response from any throttle position, and improved fuel economy under higher engine loads.In the Kia cee’d GT Line, the engine’s maximum 172 Nm torque is available across a wide 1,500-4,100 rpm range, with maximum power arriving at 6,000 rpm. The engine is also fitted with an integrated exhaust manifold, which lowers the exhaust gas temperature slightly. As well as improving high speed, high load fuel economy, lower temperatures also result in cleaner emissions by allowing the catalytic converter to operate more effectively.

Pioneer Electronics continues to advance the connected car experience with the development and launch of AppRadioLIVE.


The new car features subtle but key differences to refine yet further the overall package. At the front, a new lower apron with larger air intakes and a horizontal bar combines with reshaped BMW kidney grilles and new headlamps that feature LED daytime driving lights as standard on all models. For the first time, full LED headlamps with low and main beam have been added to the options list, with Adaptive LED headlamps a further option.
