In celebration of the 40th anniversary of its first supercar, the 1984 288 GTO, Ferrari will host its second GTO Legacy Tour.

In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Ferrari's groundbreaking GTO supercar, the esteemed marque is set to host the GTO Legacy Tour 2024 later this year.

Back in 1984, Ferrari dazzled the automotive world with the unveiling of its first official supercar, the 1984 GTO, also known as the 288 GTO.

The moniker 'GTO' stands for 'Gran Turismo Omologata,' with 'homologated' being the Italian term.

To mark this significant milestone, Ferrari has planned the GTO Legacy Tour for this year.

Following the success of the inaugural Legacy Tour in 2023, which celebrated the F40, this year's event promises to be just as thrilling.

The tour is scheduled for both 1 October and 5 October 2024.

Kicking off at Val Rendena, the tour will retrace its path to Maranello, the heart of Ferrari.

Participants will be greeted at the Prancing Horse headquarters, where they will have the privilege of engaging with Ferrari Classiche's experts and key members of the original GTO development team.

This exclusive interaction promises insights into the GTO's history and design, making it a once-in-a-lifetime experience for enthusiasts.

Additionally, attendees will be treated to a captivating display of the GTOs within the hallowed halls of the factory.

The culmination of the tour will be a thrilling parade at the iconic Fiorano Circuit, adding an exciting finale to this remarkable celebration of Ferrari's legendary GTO supercar.
