The new virtual competition is an extension of Sony PlayStation’s backing of GT Sport Motul Team RJN — the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 customer racing team contesting the 2018 Blancpain Endurance championship. Like the standard car, the GT-R NISMO’s front end features a fresh face with a dramatic new bumper. However on this model, it is made entirely from carbon fibre to reduce weight. Then to help cool the car’s high-output engine, the dark chrome V-motion grille has been enlarged to collect more air; the redesign has been carefully shaped to improve airflow around the vehicle and generate a high level of downforce, while at the same time directing air around the wheels to improve the aerodynamics. The GT-R NISMO generates more downforce than any other Nissan production car to date, which results in exceptional high-speed stability.Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 delivering 592 bhp; the engine features a pair of high-flow, large diameter turbochargers used in GT3 competition, and power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch paddleshift gearbox.Â

As the 83rd 24 Hours of Le Mans revs up for the big race day on June 13th, TAG Heuer has announced that it will be the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch Partner of Nissan NISMO.

The front bumper has been completely redesigned and features a larger air intake, additional air inlets ahead of the wheel arch and new LED daytime running lights. Other updates include the introduction of black headlamp bezels, special red Nismo trim at the base of the bumper, redesigned side sill and door mirror and special Nismo badging. The revised 370Z Nismo also features new 19-inch Rays alloy wheels finished in black and silver.
