With 2016 coming to an end, Audi Singapore gives us the list of models that will come to our shore next year
For most brands, the last month of the year is usually a quiet one - everyone winds down for the festive season, taking a break after charging like bulls for the first three quarters of the year. That said, Audi Singapore wants to let you know what they're welcoming in 2017 - here are the new models that are coming our way.
Audi S4 - As the top model of the new A4 range, the S4 offers 345 hp and a zero to 100 km/h timing of 4.7 seconds. It will be available in both Sedan and Avant body styles, and is set to debut in the first quarter of 2017.
Audi A5 Coupe - This all-new model is said to 'go further by combining emotional design with sporty handling characteristics and progressive technologies'. A step ahead when compared to its predecessor, this A5 Coupe had already bagged the 2016 Golden Steering Wheel in the Sports Car segment. It will make its debut in the first quarter of 2017.
Audi S3 - Featuring more performance (and technologies too, of course), the S3 range has been given some aesthetic changes as well to make it more attractive. It will be made available in both Sportback and Sedan variants - Audi will introduce it locally in January 2017.
Audi RS3 Sedan - The first compact Audi sedan to bear the RS badge, the RS3 Sedan features a 5-cylinder 2.5-litre turbocharged TFSI engine. With 400 hp and 480 Nm at your disposal, you can surely blow the competition away with this model. Such a sleeper, this. Order books will open in the first half of 2017.
Audi TT Coupe & Roadster 1.8 TFSI - A model that has been in Audi's range for 15 successful years, this third-generation TT will come with a turbocharged 1.8 TFSI engine. Despite being the entry-level model, Audi isn't cutting corners; the brand's highly acclaimed virtual cockpit will come standard. It will reach our shore in the second quarter of 2017.
Audi R8 Spyder - Entirely hand-built at the Audi Böllinger Höfe purpose-built production plant near Neckarsulm, the R8 Spyder is the most powerful and thrilling open-top model from Audi. There will be a preview of this car during the Singapore Motorshow 2017 in January 2017 - orders will be taken then.
Audi Q2 - The newest and youngest member of Audi's Q family, the Q2 will be the first premium SUV in the small car segment when it makes its appearance here in the first quarter of 2017. It recently won the Golden Steering Wheel Award in the Compact SUV category.
