Just 4 years after its launch, Porsche’s Boxster gets a refresh to make it leaner, meaner and more powerful than ever.

To be frank, the 991’s a fine car in every sense of the word. Besides, having driven most of the models in the range, I have to say my personal favourite has to be the GTS; it felt right despite the handling that needed some getting used to. In my books, nothing else has come close.

The GT4 Clubsport is blessed with many of the same traits that make its street-going sibling a riot to drive, such as bodywork that helps to produce genuine downforce on both axles, a lower, wider track and a mid-mounted 3.8 liter flat six engine that produces 385hp. However alterations have been made to beef up the base car, such as front suspension that has been lifted wholesale from a GT3 cup car while the rear has a revised strut design with GT3 cup car control arms. The 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake calipers are also a one piece design now for added strength.

With the Mission E Concept, Porsche previews new technology in their version of a futuristic, all-electric Sports Saloon.

Yup, that's right — with the introduction of the facelifted 991 generation (or 991.2 for short), the naturally aspirated Porsche 911 Carrera is no more. Based on inside source, the magazine also reported that the TT rival will be based on Mercedes's MFA2 front-wheel drive platform; this same platform will make its debut in the next A-Class which is planned for a 2017/2018 launch.
