Casio has renewed its contract with the Formula One World Champions, the Red Bull Racing team. Casio will make the most of this relationship to strengthen the brand image of its EDFICE watches.

The TÃœV SÃœD Automotive test also confirmed that the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 delivers top-class rolling resistance in its category, with a 7 percent better rolling resistance compared to the average performance of three leading competitors. Also, the tyre's optimized block design and optimized 4 Pitches Sequence with 64 blocks on the outside and 72 blocks on the inside help reduce noise output levels. Goodyear internal performance tests also showed that the Asymmetric 2 outperforms its predecessor with more than 10% improvement in mileage.

The Lexus Driving Experience saw a group of keen Lexus owners steer not just their silky smooth machines round the Sepang F1 circuit, but also a pair of high performance IS F super saloons.


The rest of the stalls rounded up the carnival-like atmosphere. The official Formula One team merchandise booth sold all kinds of F1 memorabilia. Team booths from Red Bull Racing, Vodafone McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari were present too. Malaysian Red Crescent Society members were on site, collecting donations to help victims of the tsunami and earthquakes in Japan.

More than 50,000 spectators witnessed former Red Bull Racing driver David Coulthard burning up Orchard Road in his F1 show car.


With all pit stops completed and 16 laps remaining, Hamilton was fourth. But on lap 42, he passed Rosberg for third and then proceeded to overtake Felipe Massa two laps later to move up to second, 4.6 seconds behind Vettel. The gap between Vettel and Hamilton was soon whittled down over the next eight laps, with Hamilton eventually passing Vettel with five laps remaining.

One can expect Audi and Infiniti cars on display, as well as Red Bull Racing merchandise on sale, while Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony Singapore will be setting up a gaming area featuring the Red Bull X2010 super car in its PS3 game GT5 alongside four units of F1 simulators courtesy of Singapore GP, making the event a real motor racing extravaganza.

The public can now catch a first glimpse of the F1 show car outside the Singapore Marriott Hotel this weekend.
