Like the previous model the full-sized MPV will come in two variants - the EX and the EXV. The EX is the 'base' model, although it already comes with quite a list of features and seats the most number of people (eight vs. seven in the EXV). Available as standard on both models are Honda's new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, HondaLink navigation and of course, the 2.4-litre DOHC i-VTEC engine with Earth Dreams technology. The fifth generation 911 GT3, a completely new development, has a power-to-weight ratio of 3.0 kg/hp and the ability to achieve a top speed of 315 km/h. It accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in a mere 3.5 seconds and completes a lap at Nürburgring Nordschleife in just under 7:30 minutes. As a technical highlight, it features the first active rear-wheel steering in a production Porsche, as well as optional full-LED headlights. The powertrain consists of a 3.8-liter boxer engine yielding 475 bhp at 8,250 rpm, a Porsche dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and a high-traction rear-wheel drive.

While no details were revealed about power source at time of unveiling, we did reported earlier that BMW and Toyota had signed an agreement to cooperate on various areas. Hence, as this is a sports car after all, we reckon it could be potentially running with BMW's twin turbo'd six-cylinder lump paired to a 7-speed DCT. A bigger surprise would be seeing this car getting the hybrid treatment, ala BMW's i8. But hey, let's just wait for more info about this FT-1 as it comes; exciting times for Toyota…

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit, Bathurst, to give it its full name, is the home of motorsport in Australia. Located in New South Wales, it has a rich motorsport history - the first race held there was the 1938 Australian Grand Prix and it now hosts the Bathurst 12 Hour and the Bathurst 1000 races amongst others. The challenging circuit is 6.213 km long with surprisingly steep inclines, a twisty, narrow section across the top of the mountain which proves difficult to master even for the very best racing drivers, and very little run off area to allow for mistakes.
