Suzuki introduces new Swift

BY Sean Loo

The Suzuki Swift has always gone back and forth between aggressive and cute styling.

Suzuki has recently revealed its latest creation, the all-new Swift, and it’s a sight to behold.

It sports a chic piano-black grille, complemented by striking L-shaped lamps that flow into its rounded shoulder lines. These lines are further accentuated by flared fenders, giving the Swift an interesting stance.

One can't help but be charmed by its floating roof design, a clever play of visuals that adds to its appeal.

The rear has three-dimensional combination lamps, giving way to a wider bumper.

Step inside, and you're greeted by a stylish, wraparound dual-tone dashboard in black and light grey.

At the heart of this dashboard is a 9.0-inch capacitive infotainment touchscreen, equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition, and Bluetooth music playback.

Equipped with a 3-cylinder 1.2-litre engine paired with a 12V mild hybrid system, it promises a spirited 82bhp and a peak torque of 112Nm.

Set to hit the market in early 2024, the Suzuki Swift is currently on sale in 169 countries and regions, with over nine million units sold as of October 2023.
