Pagani Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Utopia In Hong Kong

BY Sean Loo

Pagani Automobili recently held a celebration of its 25th Anniversary at The Repulse Bay in Hong Kong.

The focal points of the anniversary event are Pagani Automobili’s three iconic models, which represent the milestones of a journey that began with the C8 project (Zonda), continued with the C9 project (Huayra) and reached its third stage with the C10 project (Utopia).

The Pagani Utopia, which made its debut in the Asia Pacific region during that celebration, boasts a simple and unrepeatable design, while it tells a visionary and counter-trend automotive idea.

The Hypercar keeps faith in the purest Pagani spirit, the inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s principles of Art and Science. Produced in just 99 units, the first series of the Utopia coupé has already been completely sold out to a small circle of enthusiasts.

Two other iconic Pagani models will be next to the Utopia: the Zonda S and the Huayra Tempesta. Together, they represent the milestones of a journey that began 25 years ago.

The Huayra BC Absolute will also be displayed to showcase the already limited BC series featuring the new Tempesta Package.

This upgrade includes a redesigned rear wing with a central fin, a new six-pipe exhaust and further enhancements to the Pagani V12 engine, boasting a total of 816 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque.

Another prestigious example will complete the exhibition in the Arte in Pista zone: the Huayra R, born with the unique objective of offering uncompromising performance.

The production of the Pagani Huayra R was extremely limited, and included some versions specifically designed for left-hand-drive countries.

Following on from the hugely exciting Zonda R, it marks the introduction of the Arte in Pista program for customers to drive their “R” models on the most prestigious international tracks with the support of professional drivers and Pagani engineers providing feedback and advice in real time.
