Harley-Davidson Concludes Second Asia Harley Days

BY Sean Loo

Following the successful edition in 2022, Asia Harley Days, the moto-music event of the region, welcomed over 2,500 festival goers in 2023.

Harley-Davidson just concluded their second edition of Asia Harley Days, and it was a massive event encompassing over 2,500 bikers and moto-maniacs, including the cool cats from 80 H.O.G. Chapters, who flocked to the iconic Legend Siam in Pattaya on October 28, 2023.

It was a symphony of roaring engines and electrifying tunes that echoed through the hearts of Harley enthusiasts from over 15 countries, including our very own Singapore.

Picture this: the rumble of more than 1000 bikes tearing up the streets, led by none other than Poramase Ngamphiches, the Governor of Pattaya, and the head honcho of Harley-Davidson in Asia Emerging Markets & India, Sajeev Rajasekharan.

A parade that covered a solid 60 kilometres, cruising through the scenic Buddha Mountain, and bringing back the thunder to Legend Siam. Now, that's how you kick off a celebration!

But it wasn't just about the rides; it was a full-blown fiesta for the senses. The festival treated guests to heart-pounding music from the likes of King Pitchet, Chlypdy, FineDay Stories, DJ Naanza, and Tom Isara. Imagine the vibe - a mix of pure adrenaline and the soulful hum of engines.

And if that wasn't enough, there were activities galore – gymkhana competitions, a fashion show, an awards gala, and daredevil motorcycle stunts by Siam Stunt and Unlimitcontrol. Talk about living life in the fast lane!

Now, let's talk bikes. The star of the show, the Custom Kings Contest, saw Fat Boy Design Custom Shop taking the crown for their jaw-dropping “Fat Boy FLSTF 1991” model. It wasn't just a bike; it was a masterpiece on wheels.

And for the first time in Thailand, Harley-Davidson unwrapped their 2023 CVO Street Glide and CVO Road Glide. These babies aren't just motorcycles; they're a blend of cutting-edge tech, rider comfort that's next level, and the kind of dynamic performance that'll give you goosebumps.

Powered by the mean Milwaukee-Eight VVT 121 engine, these beasts are set to hit selected markets, so keep your eyes peeled!

Big shoutout to the sponsors who made this roar-fest possible - Krungsri Auto, Singha Soda, Ford, Michelin, Snap-on, Products Bangkok, Johnnie Walker Style, Shade Commune, Amazing Thailand, GQ, Art of Speed, Takara Wong, and Legend Siam. These are the folks who know how to rev up a party!

And here's the kicker - the date and venue for the 2024 Asia Harley Days will drop soon. So, until then, keep those engines revved, the wind in your hair, and the spirit of Harley alive. Ride on!
