As we wrap up 2019, Audi has its new year’s resolution set with a thrilling line-up of new variants and models.
Audi A1 Sportback S LIne
First, on the list is the Audi A1 Sportback S Line looking to debut in Q1 2020. Following the recent welcome of the new A1 Sportback, the latest S variant is adorned with generous air inlets and additional sill trims. The elongated slit central placed beneath the hood with two fins and a larger rear wing adds to the Sporty, Snazzy attitude of this premium subcompact. Inheriting a fully digital interior concept synonymous with Audi’s A8 flagship, we can expect the premium connectivity that accompanies an energetic, urban lifestyle.
Audi A4
Expected to arrive in H2, 2020, we look forward to a sportier, crisp facelift of Audi’s ‘bread and butter’. With a large MMI touch display that is offered as an option in the A7 Sportback, customers can expect a seamless operating experience akin to smartphone familiarities.
Audi A7 Sportback 2.0 TFSI S-tronic quattro
As early as Jan 2020, this stunning Gran Turismo will come with a robust 2.0 TFSI (Turbo Fuel Stratified Injection) variant in harmony with the current V6 option. Featuring the quattro all-wheel drive as that standard, we are optimistic that it drives and handles as well as its handsome good looks.
Audi e-tron
Presenting the first fully electrified model from Audi, the e-tron represents a new era for the brand and industry. With a revolutionary attitude to performance and motorsports (remember quattro in the ‘80s’), the e-tron challenges prevailing electric car standards. With a new design mantra for the electronic age, this full-size SUV offers high-speed charging & Audi connect functionalities. Promising agility and manoeuvrability off-road, the e-tron offers practical everyday sensibilities for the discerning driver. Audi charging on-demand service will be introduced with the e-tron’s arrival in Q1 2020. This solution, a critical element to the electric vehicle ecosystem, endeavours to ease the transition to electric vehicle ownership.
Audi e-tron Sportback
Advancing rapidly into the electrical age, more than 30 electrified models are already in the Audi production pipeline, awaiting introduction by 2025. The Audi e-tron Sportback, the brand's second full-electric model is expected to make its ways to our shores in H2, 2020.
Audi Q3 Sportback
Anticipating to arrive in H2 2020, the Audi Q3 Sportback is the first compact crossover that marries the convenient versatility of an SUV with the elegant handling of a coupé. If you are looking for a family hatchback to consider seriously, the Audi A3 Sportback is a formidable contender to the Mercedez A-Class and BMW 1 Series.
Audi Q7
Estimated to debut in H2 2020, this second-generation seven-seat premium SUV features improved aesthetics and user experience. Here, Audi has replaced the original Q7 dashboard with that of the Q8’s for a more state-of-the-art encounter (think touch screen climate controls and responsive infotainment with haptic feedback). For the first time, mild-hybrid technology (a 48V battery used to power the car’s systems when decelerating) will be introduced to this model to enhance efficiency and performance. The Audi Q7 is probably one of the most child-friendly SUVs in the market as it comes equipped with ISOFIX mounts on all seats except the driver’s.
Audi RS 6 Avant
Positioning itself at the pinnacle of the A6 family with distinct RS features, the new Audi RS 6 Avant is a high-performance station wagon that prophesies performance and practical everyday applications. Can this super-estate give the Mercedes-AMG E63 S a run for the money? We wait in eager anticipation for this model to make its debut, hopefully, end-2020. Can’t resist the pun but we are optimistic that the Audi RS 6 Avant will be an ‘Avant’age in this Avant age.
Audi RS 7 Sportback
Marketed as a wide-bodied five-seater for the first time, the new Audi RS 7 Sportback boasts enhanced efficiency delivered by a mild hybrid system. This hearty grand tourer is endowed with sporty good looks, an impressively adaptive air suspension system and long-distance prowess. Sadly, we will have to await its arrival hopefully, by end-2020.
