This compound was designed to provide almost glue-like grip when it comes into contact with water. Secondly there are the deeper grooves, which are improved over its predecessor, the EP200. After clocking more than 5,000 km on Bridgestone’s latest comfort-biased rubber, here’s our honest opinion


The predecessor to the EP200, the EP300 is said to improve your car's fuel efficiency, provide better grip in the wet and - the most important factor to value-conscious consumers - lasts longer. In an internal test done at Bridgestone's Thai proving ground, the EP300 actually travelled 11.2 kilometres further, per tank.

Employing this newly developed compound, Earth-1 achieves a better balance between the conflicting two measures of performances. Grip force is obtained through ‘Orange Oil’, and rolling resistance is reduced through natural rubber. Low rolling tyre resistance saves fuel hence reduces Co2 emission into the environment. This unique design also realizes ‘Multi-Performance’ with its improvements made to performance related to comfort, quietness, and uneven wear resistance. Earth-1 tyres biodegradable property is simply an ingenious invention that can truly be called an ECO tyre.
