After successfully launching their first ever women oriented program last month, Goodyear has kicked off their first “Survival Training” workshop held at the Nusajaza Goodyear Autocare Centre.

On 14 and 15 May 2011, ladies will get to drive Singapore's best-selling coupe, the Volkswagen Scirocco on the very same stretch of tarmac that hosts the annual Formula One street race. Prizes will be awarded to the fastest woman on each day.

Off the track, visitors can enjoy a manicure, pedicure or head and neck massage, plus a free flow of refreshments. There will be plenty of eye candy too, in the form of Volkswagen's hunky grid boys.

Six women debunked the perception of women being inferior drivers at the Subaru’s Search For Female Stunt Driver event at the F1 Pit Building last Saturday.

Like the coupe, the 370Z roadster is similar in dimensions save for the fact that it had its top chopped and replaced with a fabric folding roof that comes with a standard automatic latching power top. His expertise was telling, particularly in showing how things were done as he accompanied the participants through all the exercises. Just as well that the venue suited the programme, with The Plaza at the Changi
Exhibition Centre in Changi Coast Road providing the wide open space needed for such a safety event.
