It’s definitely a weird statement to proclaim, but I can’t wait to have a go in the new Prius once it arrives on our shores. Fortunately, I managed to get a sneak peek at this year’s rendition of the Tokyo Auto Salon. The Prius shown here isn’t exactly stock, adorning an aftermarket body kit from Modellista which will probably not make it to the actual production model. But, it still gives us good insights as to what the Prius will look like when Toyota decides to roll it out.

The ubiquitous 3 Series has been famous worldwide as BMW's primary people-mover since 1975. Currently in it's seventh generation and codenamed G20, it's getting a mid-cycle refresh, or what BMW calls Life Cycle Impulse, or LCI. Outside The LCI G20 is set to come standard with full LED headlights, with adaptive LED headlights optionally available. The latter will feature a cornering light function, non-dazzling matrix high beam, dynamic headlight range control and variable light distribution to make driving at night that much safer for the driver as well as other road u sers. The headlights themselves will be sleeker and sharper-looking than those on the current pre-facelift G20.

The production Veloster was stripped to bare metal and the chassis spent five days in an Alkali bath removing all rubber and adhesives. KESSY offers the driver the highest level of convenience as the transmitter need not necessarily be held in the hand to enter and start the car. As soon as a driver enters a radius of approximately 1.5 metres around the vehicle, the transmitter is identified by the proximity sensors in the door handles and by a radio impulse sensor in the key housing. Touching the door handles or the logo on the boot lid automatically unlocks the vehicle. The release of the steering lock and the ignition of the engine are carried out by pressing the start-stop button on the steering column. After leaving the vehicle, the driver can lock the vehicle by pressing the integrated lock buttons on the door handles.
