Like the standard car, the GT-R NISMO’s front end features a fresh face with a dramatic new bumper. However on this model, it is made entirely from carbon fibre to reduce weight. Then to help cool the car’s high-output engine, the dark chrome V-motion grille has been enlarged to collect more air; the redesign has been carefully shaped to improve airflow around the vehicle and generate a high level of downforce, while at the same time directing air around the wheels to improve the aerodynamics. The GT-R NISMO generates more downforce than any other Nissan production car to date, which results in exceptional high-speed stability.Power comes from a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 delivering 592 bhp; the engine features a pair of high-flow, large diameter turbochargers used in GT3 competition, and power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch paddleshift gearbox.

The high-performance car will go on sale November 1st


Following registration, they will be emailed an access code in order to download the DriveWell app from Google Play or App Store. The app will be used by all participants and will score drivers based on five key components: braking, acceleration, cornering, speeding and phone use. Once the driver has installed and used the app, the driver’s behaviour will be automatically recorded and measured whenever he is on the road.

Designed in-house by the Ferrari Styling Centre, the 458 MM Speciale was built on the chassis and running gear of the 458 Speciale. Stylistically, the said owner was looking for extremely sporty lines and specified a ‘visor’ effect for the glasshouse: A black-painted A-pillar, very much in the style of the 1984 Ferrari GTO, helps provide a wraparound effect between the windscreen and side windows which melds into a single, seamless glass surface. This solution simultaneously lowers the roofline and lends an aerodynamic sleekness to the full volume of the swept-back C-pillar.

Suddenly along came this new RX, which is a definite far cry from what it began with. Lets just focus on the exterior first — a radical and ferocious face that could scare road-hogging gits. Just look at the amount of details, how the slit-eyed headlamps, one-piece spindle grill with chrome frames, creased bonnet and stylishly designed foglamps all seem to come together brilliantly; compare it to the current X5, Q7 and XC90 and I’m sure the trio look less exciting. Boring, even.
