Tickets for the show are priced at $6 per entry on weekdays and $8 per entry on weekends; children 120 cm and below enter for free. Just like this year’s show, Singapore Motorshow 2017 will also have a limited amount of special preview tickets - these are available at $10 per entry, and will allow visitors to enter the show at 1:00 pm on 12 January 2017 instead of 5:00 pm on the same day it opens to the public.

Student-designed cars will compete at the Shell Eco-marathon Asia, to be held in Singapore for the first time, as part of 'Make the Future Singapore'


The runs were carried out at Skellefteå Drive Center, a former airfield just outside Skellefteå in northern Sweden. The truck covered the distance in both directions; based on these two runs, the average time and speed were calculated. The record result the FIA presented is the average speed of the two runs.

For this test, the aerodynamics were closely scrutinised by the engineers. “The freedom allowed by the FIA regulations offers us a much larger range of possible solutions than before,” says project manager for the 2017 World Rally Car, Alexis Avril. “The bodywork of the WRC must entirely cover that of the original model and the maximum width is set at 1875mm. In this framework, we have a lot of freedom to design the wheel arches and bumpers. We can also create air intakes for re-cooling the rear brakes and add on a diffuser. Paradoxically, there are more restrictions for the design of the rear wing than today, but its efficiency will be increased tenfold by its further backed and raised positioning.”

Suddenly along came this new RX, which is a definite far cry from what it began with. Lets just focus on the exterior first — a radical and ferocious face that could scare road-hogging gits. Just look at the amount of details, how the slit-eyed headlamps, one-piece spindle grill with chrome frames, creased bonnet and stylishly designed foglamps all seem to come together brilliantly; compare it to the current X5, Q7 and XC90 and I’m sure the trio look less exciting. Mazda Motor Corporation today announced that production of the Mazda MX-5 has reached one million units on 22nd April, 2016.


Based on Audi’s new MLB-Evo platform (first found in the new Q7), the new A4 is as much as 120kg lighter than the outgoing model. Although it really does not look it, the car has also grown in size, 25 mm longer and 16 mm wider to be precise. The model we tested is the Design trim which comes with extra chrome trimmings and the sportier 17-inch alloy wheels.
