This simple and funky Cooper S has a red hot interior and some yummy performance bits, all thrown in to make it a spicy little number!


The A1 e-tron contains technology that Audi’s development engineers are using to study the mobility requirements for such a future-oriented concept. The technological basis includes an electric motor with a maximum output of 75 kW that is powered by a lithium-ion battery. The battery features a 12 kWh capacity and can be completely charged in 30 minutes (quick charge), or in less than three hours (standard charge). It offers a range of 50 kilometres. To prevent drivers from being stranded by an empty battery, the A1 e-tron also comes equipped with a combustion engine, which can charge the battery as needed. The one-disc rotary engine (254 cc) is located under the trunk floor; it provides 15 kW of output intended solely to charge the battery, rather than to directly power the wheels.

This rare Ice Blue MINI Cooper S is one cool ride. Clean and tastefully modded with a generous splash of JCW bits, its blue-black theme speaks of cool aggression.


Into the race, the leading Weider HSC-010 and S Road Mola GTR opened up a big gap between the rest of the pack, with a gap that varied from lap to lap. The action however, was behind the leaders as two HSV-010's (Keihin #17 and Arta #8) battled for the final podium position. Andre Lotterer in the Petronas Tom'S SC430 was fighting for sixth place, only to be held back by the GT-R's straight line speeds.

A wet affair awaited the drivers at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, with the safety car coming out seven times and a two-hour stoppage caused by heavy rain!

Powered by an all-new 130 hp Gamma 1.6 MPI engine with Dual CVVT, power is fed to the wheels though a new six-speed automatic transmission with manual override.

Daniel Liew, RFC East Malaysia Rep, Dennis Javier a veteran Filipino campaigner in RFC assisted in the SS design with PORCI organizing committee. Robby Consunji, the RFC Rep for Philippines was overall in charge as the Race Director. With the meticulous planning done, it was all systems go on D-Day.

The fourth edition of Formula DRIFT Singapore is set for more intense racing and partying at the F1 Pit Building.


Audi also offers the same engine that powers the two TT RS models in the RS 3 Sportback — due to arrive in Singapore next quarter. It takes 4.6 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h — a best-in-class performance figure. Its governed top speed is 250 km/h. Audi Singapore has been receiving orders for the car even before its launch. This is the seventh category win in a row at the International Engine of the Year Awards for Audi TFSI technology and the second year in a row that the Audi 2.5 litre TFSI has won the award. Between 2005 and 2009, the Audi 2.0-litre TFSI engine has won the award in the 1.8 to two litre category.

It was a wet morning as we all made our way to the rendezvous point in the eastern part of our little island. Great, now how on earth are we going to enjoy driving with the roof down in such crappy weather? Well, let’s just say the dude above wanted us to have a blast, so lo and behold, the weather stopped almost instantly by the time we arrived. Well, you should know what wet roads lead to — over steering antics, that sort. In the case of the 370Z and the Boxster S, it wasn't hard. Switch off the traction control, floor the pedal at the right time, steer with confidence and tadaa… “dorift-o”, as what Krado would say. Not so easy with the four-wheel driven TTS though — but a little pull of the handbrake with no traction control will see it go sideways, although not as spectacular as the other two.
