Continuing with our Fast & Furious 5 giveaway is the Fast & Furious 5 official soundtrack!


With the film set in Brazil, the album is filled with a mix of Portuguese tracks too, ranging from the ethnic “Carlito Marron” by Bahia musician Carlinhos Brown, the rap-tastic “Batalha” by ObandO or the joyful “Danza Kuduro” by Don Omar. Granted, most of us won't understand every single word sung in the song, but that doesn't mean that they don't make great music to groove with. Three instrumental scores from the movie, ranging to which range from pure epic-ness to down-and-gritty industrial rock are included in this CD. Produced by Brian Tyler, “Assembling the Team”, “Mad Skills” and “Fast Five Suite” are the tracks that shaped the atmosphere of this movie. This installment of the soundtrack is perhaps the most diverse in the Fast and Furious universe. From the moment we has this wonderful album in our car's stereo, we never ever, ever wanted to get out of our cars. The Fast and Furious franchise has spawned a musical following, with every installment seemingly having a future chart-topping song in the mix.


The MON 109 rated Motorsport 109 is a direct replacement that produces more power than any other unleaded fuel - up to five percent more than premium unleaded. Recommended for applications with turbo charged and naturally aspirated engines with compression ratios up to 15:1, it offers better detonation protection as well. The Q16 is a highly oxygenated MON 116 fuel that requires a four to six percent increase in fuel flow, which will make three to five percent more power than competitive 116 octane fuels and is excellent in higher compression engines that have 17:1 compression ratios. With its vaporization characteristics, this fuel allows more efficient combustion, lower engine operating temperatures and offer greater detonation protection. It is most suitable for drifting and time attack applications. The MON 117 C16 is recommended for use in turbo charged or super charged engines and nitrous applications with compression ratios of up to 17:1. Popular with Formula D, D1GP drifters, Time Attack racers, it is also recommended by the top nitrous oxide companies. VP Import is a MON 120+ fuel that promises maximum power and torque in small displacement, high RPM engines, be it turbo charged, naturally aspirated or fitted with nitrous systems. Makes five percent more power than C16 and similar non-oxygenated fuels. It works best under high temperatures generated by mechanical heat.

The new Volkswagen Eos has been launched with a new look.


And so, it was perhaps the most grueling, biggest and most significant off-road competition in the country. So significant is the event that LRPhils brought in no less than RFC founder and creator, Luis J.A.Wee to witness the event and to oversee the construction of the RFC SS designed according to the standards of RFC Prologue format. Daniel Liew, RFC East Malaysia Rep, Dennis Javier a veteran Filipino campaigner in RFC assisted in the SS design with PORCI organizing committee. Robby Consunji, the RFC Rep for Philippines was overall in charge as the Race Director. With the meticulous planning done, it was all systems go on D-Day.

Hottest Show In Central Luzon

Held at SM City, a prominent shopping mall, Pampanga Grounds in the City of San Fernando in Central Luzon, it was the hottest race ever for man and machine.


The faster, sportier and more powerful Audi A1 has a compact, lightweight engine with four valves per cylinder, delivering 185 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. The sprint from zero to 100 km/h takes just 6.9 seconds, and the top speed is 227 km/h. This A1 achieves its spontaneous response and high propulsive power, even at high speeds, thanks to its special concept — a combination of super charger and turbo charger.

The dual-charged 1.4 TFSI pumps out an impressive 185 bhp and 250 Nm of torque.


Just after that, something happened in the battle for the lead. Tsukakoshi in car No. 17 had been chasing Matsuda in No. 12 at a faster pace and was already on his tail by lap 45, where he made a braking mistake going into the hairpin turn and did a half-spin that sent his car colliding into No. 12. (Matsuda). This caused Matsuda to spin as well. Tsukakoshi (No. 17) recovered first and took the lead, but three laps later the decision was made to give him a drive-through penalty as the one responsible for the collision. On the same lap 47 where Tsukakoshi was given his penalty, the battle for third was heating up. Yamamoto in car No. 100 passed car No. 36 (Nakajima) in the Atwood Curve. When No. 17 (Tsukakoshi) returned to the pit lane for the drive-through penalty, it moved No. 100 (Yamamoto) up into second position. From this point on, Yamamoto in car No. 100 began to close the gap slowly on No. 12 (Matsuda), but the gap was too was too big for him to catch No. 12 before it took the chequered and the win.

Singapore - First In Southeast Asia To Preview BMW Concept M5

Back in April, we released news about the new M5 making an appearance here. Last night, Munich Automobiles, the first M Showroom in the world, previewed the awesome BMW Concept M5 über saloon.


In third place, Martin Tomczyk became the best-placed driver of a 2008-spec car and thrilled the spectators with spirited attacks and overtaking manoeuvres. His efforts were rewarded. In the points’ standings, he is currently third behind Rockenfeller. British driver Jamie Green lost his second place at the start and was also overtaken by Tomczyk during the race. The Mercedes-Benz driver finished fourth ahead of two times’ DTM champion Timo Scheider (Audi). Audi driver Edoardo Mortara from Italy already scored his first-ever championship points by finishing sixth in his second race. He was followed by Maro Engel (Mercedes-Benz) and Mattias Ekström with the Audi A4 DTM. The Swede started 16th and still scored one point by finishing eighth.

In his 44th DTM race, Mike Rockenfeller scored his long overdue maiden victory in his 44th DTM race.

The fourth edition of Formula DRIFT Singapore is set for more intense racing and partying at the F1 Pit Building.


Audi also offers the same engine that powers the two TT RS models in the RS 3 Sportback — due to arrive in Singapore next quarter. It takes 4.6 seconds to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h — a best-in-class performance figure. Its governed top speed is 250 km/h. Audi Singapore has been receiving orders for the car even before its launch. This is the seventh category win in a row at the International Engine of the Year Awards for Audi TFSI technology and the second year in a row that the Audi 2.5 litre TFSI has won the award. Between 2005 and 2009, the Audi 2.0-litre TFSI engine has won the award in the 1.8 to two litre category.

A jury of 76 international motoring journalists has voted the Audi 2.5 litre TFSI as the “International Engine of the Year 2011” in the two litre to 2.5 litre category.


With modernisation in cars, comes new-found tech like the clever XDS system, an electronic differential that brakes the inside front wheel should the system detect any slip or loss in traction. Boring? Kind of, but safe nonetheless. It's fun with a safety net. Anyway, if you're feeling gutsy and are in the mood for some wheel spinning action, it can always be switched off.

Round 1: Streets of Long Beach provided fans with action and excitement through the weekend. The debut of new vehicles and new drivers added to the anticipation for the new season.


Huff also took the most out of the crushing supremacy the Chevrolet Cruze cars showed on the fast track of Monza, and managed not to crack under the relentless pressure that Muller and Menu put on him. Over the 18 laps of the two races, Huff did not commit the slightest mistake, never opened the smallest gap and always kept the most favourable line.
