Stupendously rapid and yet relaxing to drive and be in, the Volvo S60 T6 now gets an even sportier makeover from the company's R-Design wardrobe.


First up: The looks. The Range Rover Sport is still as big and imposing, even though we noticed several “softer” features. The grille has been replaced with a less prominent two-bar design instead of the older three. The lights still maintain their shape, but the front lamps have been updated with a ring of LEDs that form the daytime running lights, while the lights in the rear get a subtle work-over.

Biodiesel can be made from used cooking oil, palm oil, Jatropha oil, and in many research and development projects using algae. Recently in March, Neste Oil opened its largest biodiesel plant in Singapore. Capable of producing 800,000 tonnes of renewable fuel from palm oil, the plant was built on a budget of about S$970 million.

In conclusion, if you are shopping for a good car, the Jetta Sport does have some very good points that makes it a safe choice. Firstly, it's big. Secondly, it's fast. With these three big pluses, it won't be long until you come across a Jetta Sport on the road. We'll pick it if we want a sensible family sedan, but as a sports car... we can only hope that the GLI and the speculated R variants will pack all the necessary thrills.

It's not often one gets to drive a brand new car from a brand new, er... brand. Well that's what we did last week with Wearnes Automotive, distributors of the latest premium luxury marque, Infiniti.


After being grouped, we were first sent off to do a hot lap on the South Track in the Samoa Orange-hot Audi R8 GT. Because of its rarity - with only 333 units to be built - we were not allowed to drive it. With the track still wet from the rain, it was interesting to see what Daryl could do with 560 hp...

After the roaring racing action faded away at Sepang, it was time for a few to experience an exhilarating drive on a closed course.


The RS 3 Sportback differs from its S3 cousin with flared front fenders made from carbon-fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP), prominent sill panels, exterior-mirror casings in matt aluminium look and a large roof spoiler.
