New Maserati Quattroporte

The Italian car-maker plans kick-off a 50,000 units per year production plan by 2015. The 2013 Maserati Quattroporte will be the first of three models to help them achieve that.


Like all six Golf GTI generations before it, the seventh generation concept car being shown in Paris is distinguished from other Golf models by numerous additional equipment features and classic GTI insignia. Overall, the seventh generation Golf is also visually more dynamic than the previous one. The objective of the designers was to develop an even more striking and sporty character into the new Golf GTI - the goal was to give the GTI a lower, wider image with a more challenging character. Volkswagen Golf GTi Concept

Set to be launched in early 2013, the new Volkswagen Golf GTI will be powered by the engine from the EA888 series with 220 ps, and 230 ps if opted with the factory performance pack.


A significant restyling also shapes the interior of the car with completely redesigned front and rear seats and a new steering wheel with a more sporty and muscular look.

Maserati GranTurismo Sport 2013

The Maserati GranTurismo Sport will make its premiere at the 2012 Geneva Auto Show, with borrowed design cues of the MC Stradale's front end. No bad thing.


“This vehicle will mark the launch of the first volume-produced car featuring bodywork largely made of carbon. It’s a revolution in automotive design,” stressed Klaus Draeger, Member of the Board responsible for Development. The application of this new CFRP technology allows a weight reduction, compared to a conventional electric car, of between 250 and 350 kilos, and that means more dynamic handling coupled with a greater range. The BMW i3 does the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in less than eight seconds, while a high-speed charger achieves an 80% battery charge in just an hour.
