The third generation all-new IS model range was recently unveiled at the new Lexus Boutique.

The LF-LC’s main styling highlight is its one-piece glass roof, which incorporates both the front and rear windscreens and is supported by a lightweight, cantilevered pillar inspired from modern architecture. Framed by a
deep aluminium surround, the ‘spindle’ grille’s mesh pattern gives it a 3D effect, while the L-shaped daytime running lights with vertical fog lamps suggest a sense of movement. A rear deck spindle grille design echoes the front of the LF-LC, with L-shaped tail lamps utilising inner lighting (inspired by a jet’s afterburner) creating a sense of depth and width.

The headlights are now smaller in size and have daytime running lights that may have been inspired by Nike. The car’s rear end has also received a radical redesign. Over an intimate breakfast session at the Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, Lexus shared with the media what the future holds for the luxury Japanese brand, and the new face that will front the marque.

Just last week, the 2013 Lexus GS 350 was launched at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in California. Lexus' competitor next to BMW's 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz's E-Class, Audi's A6 and Jaguar's XF, the GS 350 is powered by a 3.5 liter V6 engine that whips out 306bhp at 6,400 rpm, with maximum torque rated at 375Nm at 4,800 rpm. Mated to a 6-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission, the Lexus GS will sprint from 0 to 100km/h in an impressive 5.7 seconds, with a top speed of 230km/h.
