The revolutionary optics used in these headlights is a departure from the tubular light modules commonly used today. The Audi flagship combines a new level of technical intelligence with intuitively simple operation. Its multimedia interface (MMI) includes a pioneering innovation: in conjunction with the MMI navigation plus navigation (standard), it has a touchpad. The MMI enables the driver to control many functions intuitively. The navigation destination, for example, can be entered by tracing the letters on the pad with a finger.

It was not simply a question of moving the transmission to the rear axle, the vehicle had to be adjusted and tuned in every element of its driving dynamics. This includes springs, dampers, stabilisers and even the tyres. The aerodynamics were also adjusted to take account of the change to the power flow. The rear axle differential, with a 45 percent limited slip, was also redeveloped, as was the calibration of the e-gear transmission. One significant point was the adjustments made to the ESP system. While the standard program is focused on high stability, the CORSA program permits greater drift angles, thus enabling drivers to enjoy the dynamics of the LP550-2 to their full extent.

The new Wrangler AT/SA also comes with an enhanced silica tread compound that extends tread life and provides up to 20% more mileage than its previous version. Also, the Wrangler AT/SA has been designed with a specific bead area configuration that ensures that the tyre sits firmly on the rim reducing rim slippage for minimal balancing throughout the life of the tyre. The enhanced silica tread compounds, in combination with the highly bladed tread design, provides additional traction on all surfaces regardless of dry or wet conditions. Goodyear Malaysia has recently introduced the new and improved range of all-terrain SUV and 4X4 tyre - the Wrangler AT/SA.


Performance wise, the Eagle EfficientGrip is designed for maximum control in all year round driving conditions and reduced wet-braking distances for rock-solid vehicle stability. With a high number of biting edges gripping the road surface for greater traction, the tyre is built with the maximum ratio of blading in the contact patch to achieve safer cornering and maximum grip in all driving conditions. Based on external tests on wet-braking performance, the Eagle EfficientGrip outperforms a leading competitor in its class. This wet-braking test was conducted by TÃœV SÃœD Automotive GmbH in Mireval, on size 205/55 R16 on a low mu wet asphalt surface, and showed that the Eagle EfficientGrip indeed reduces wet-braking distances of up to 1.7 metres versus a leading competitor. The Goodyear Eagle EfficientGrip is available in 17 sizes in 45 — 65 series, 15-17 inch rims with V, W and Y speed ratings.
