The stock 3.6-liter engine is rebuilt to displace 3.82 liters. The engine has been recreated with premium components successfully developed and proven through Ninemeister’s racing exploits. The Singer 911’s engine achieves its displacement with Ninemeister 103mm pistons and cylinders, the 76.4mm crankshaft of the 997 GT3, and the 132mm lightweight titanium connecting rods. The large bore, short stroke combination can spin to 8000 rpm, but offers a broad, flexible torque curve.

The 458 Challenge has made its world debut in Maranello during the Annual Dealer Meeting, an event that brings together the international sales representatives of Ferrari.

Based on the findings of the report and the search for Asia’s Smartest FuelSaver, Shell has extended its effort to help drivers save 10% or more fuel. Now the focus is how to mobilise the 42% of the world’s drivers who are not currently saving. A Thai actress and business owner has been crowned Asia’s Smartest FuelSaver at the first Shell Eco-marathon in Asia.

With the kick-off of the event in Asia on the 8th of July 2010, the Shell Eco-marathon has finally achieved the status of being a truly global event for the first time with 80 per cent of the teams making it on to the track for the inaugural Shell Eco-marathon ASIA 2010 which is comparable to teams who participate in Europe and the United States. This competition has been running in Europe since 1985 and the United States since 2007 and the objective of the competition is to challenge students to design, build and drive a vehicle that can travel the furthest distance on the least amount of fuel.

Held at the Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, teams from Thailand and Singapore emerged tops amongst 81 teams from 10 Asian countries.

The teams are from the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) West, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).

Making its debut in Asia in July 2010, the Shell Eco-Marathon is an educational project that challenges student teams to design and build the most energy-efficient vehicles to compete with each other.

Each fuel purchase receipt entitles customers to only one chance and one prize. Customers are required to check their receipt at the point of purchase and present the original receipt immediately to the cashier, who will then issue them the Prize Collection letter.

Shell estimates at least 100 winners per month in this promotion.
