    • After more than five years in Singapore, the 300C was recently given a facelift to keep it fresh and relevant. At the same time, to present itself as a unique alternative next to the more predictable German and Japanese offerings.
    • Although its bodyshell remains largely unchanged, the most obvious update can be seen on its fresher looking face, a far cry from the Rolls-Royce inspired one seen previously. 20-inch alloys, wrapped in 245/45 R-20 rubbers, come standard.
    • Inside, the 300C gets an upgrade in quality. On top of that, a centre console that not only features intuitive controls but also a 'U Connect System', Chrysler's version of a multimedia system akin to BMW's iDrive and Audi's MMI - it's a hub for all your media, namely mobile phone, SirusXM Satellite Radio, Navigation and MP3 player.

    • To make 10 years of Hybrid power a very special milestone to remember, Kah Motors will also offer a Mugen Aero Package for the Honda CR-Z. The first 10 CR-Z customers will get this package free. This Aero Package can be applied to 6MT and CVT models. The design concept of the Mugen Aero Package is “Sporty & Cool”. The package includes the following: Mugen front under spoiler, rear under spoiler, side under spoiler, front sports grille and rear wing.     • With 5 adjustable damping levels, the Mugen sports suspension integrates high-speed stability, comfort, and turning performance.     • To complement the new handling performance from the 5-way adjustable Mugen suspension, the three special 6MT CR-Zs will also be equipped with some additional Mugen parts. A Mugen-designed fuel filler cap (unique hybrid green finish), a set of Mugen-designed floor mats and a special carbon fiber Mugen gearknob adds a touch of unique sportiness.
  • The 1.2 TSI engine, mated to a 7-speed DSG, produces 105 bhp. This particular combination has already proven its worth in several other Volkswagen models. This turbocharged direct-injectionpetrol powerplant accelerates the CrossPolo to 100km/h in only 9.9 seconds, while top speed is rated at 188km/h. At the same time, the car achieves a combined fuel consumption of just 5.5L/100km, equivalent to 128g/km of CO2. The CrossPolo meets the limits of the Euro 5 emissions standard. Price is set at $126,300, with COE.

    • Another unmistakable characteristic of the CrossPolo: the silver anodised roof rails. They are certainly not just decorative; they can be used to mount roof boxes nd carrier systems with a weight of up to 75 kilograms. Colour coordinated with the roof railings are door mirrors that are painted in silver.
  • The star of the event is of course the new SUV, which looks every bit an Audi. Sporting Audi's signature LED wedge-shaped headlights and a handsome mini-Q5 look, the soft-roader oozes quality inside and out.

    • A typical drive in smooth traffic will usually take the trip from Jakarta to Bandung only two hours. Guess what: the convoy was stuck in traffic for a good two hours instead. It really tested the driver’s patience, alertness and of course, bladder.
    • <strong>Day 1 – 05/07/2012</strong><br /> <br /> We arrived in Jakarta at about 3:00pm (Jakarta time) with a chauffeur picking us - a fellow motoring scribe from SGCarmart and BMW Asia’s Corporate Affairs Director - up in a <em>gangsta</em> black BMW X5 xDrive35i (with full tinted windows for added <em>gangsta</em> drama) from the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. As the drive will not begin until 8:30pm in the evening, our chauffeur dropped us off at Plaza Senayan for some R & R; the three of us decided to enjoy some local food at the mall’s food court. Like they say, sometimes nothing beats local food.
    • At 5:30pm, the chauffeur picked us up again and then dropped us off at the starting point of this drive: Café Aria at the Panin Bank building which is located within Jakarta’s CBD.

Much has changed since earlier collaborations, however, with the advent of new working methods such as digital sketching, Photoshop and CAD/CAS tools, things have gotten easier, and designs alot bolder.
    • But despite these advances in the design tools available, the human touch is still essential to the process. “Working with Zagato was a fantastic experience. It was extremely enriching for us to create something with people who share our understanding of good design and passion for cars,” explains Karim Habib, Head of Design BMW Automobiles.
