Kah Motor Celebrates 10 Years of Hybrid Power With Mugen Options For The CR-Z

To celebrate 10 years of Honda Hybrid power in Singapore, Kah Motor is offering 3 Honda CR-Zs (6MT) with a Mugen Sports Package. Also, the Mugen Aero Package is going free for the first 10 CR-Z orders

Mugen (with means "Unlimited") has been synonymous with Honda tuning for almost 40 years. Started by Hirotoshi Honda, the son of Honda Motor Company founder Soichiro Honda, the company tunes and races Honda vehicles all over the world.

Now you can have a piece of that motorsports heritage and know-how when you purchase a new CR-Z, Honda's latest sports compact hybrid.

“Honda Hybrid power has become a very special part of the Honda line-up in Singapore,” says Mr Nicholas Wong, General Manager of Kah Motor. “We celebrate 10 years of Hybrid power with these very special Mugen options.”

Kah Motor will offer only 3 (yes, just three) 2012 CR-Z 6MT with a Mugen Sports Package. The core component of this Mugen Sports Package is Mugen’s sports suspension with 5 levels of damping adjustment.

With 5 adjustable damping levels, the Mugen sports suspension integrates high-speed stability, comfort, and turning performance. Large damper pistons, “rebound springs”, well balanced spring and damping rate allows additional load to be transferred to the front driving wheels improving traction. Ensuring quick and light cornering response. Considering the vehicle’s weight, suspension settings for the 6MT is developed individually. The dampers and springs are developed to function as a cohesive set. Vehicle height is reduced by 15 to 20mm.

To complement the new handling performance from the 5-way adjustable Mugen suspension, the three special 6MT CR-Zs will also be equipped with some additional Mugen parts. A Mugen-designed fuel filler cap (unique hybrid green finish), a set of Mugen-designed floor mats and a special carbon fiber Mugen gearknob adds a touch of unique sportiness.

To make 10 years of Hybrid power a very special milestone to remember, Kah Motors will also offer a Mugen Aero Package for the Honda CR-Z. The first 10 CR-Z customers will get this package free. This Aero Package can be applied to 6MT and CVT models. The design concept of the Mugen Aero Package is “Sporty & Cool”. The package includes the following: Mugen front under spoiler, rear under spoiler, side under spoiler, front sports grille and rear wing. Designed and tested in the wind tunnel, the Aero Package not only enhances the sporty design of the 2012 CR-Z, it also generates additional down force from the rear wing, improving traction and high speed stability.
