Bentley Motors Limited, the definitive British luxury car company, has assembled one of the greatest collections of exhibits from its world renowned factory in Crewe, England. The World of Bentley will be showcased at Bentley Singapore’s showroom on Leng Kee Road.

The largest fleet from Bentley Motors in Southeast Asia will also make an appearance here: the flagship Mulsanne, the sumptuous and spacious Continental Flying Spur, the stylish Continental GTC W12, as well as the latest Continental GT and GTC V8 models.

The World of Bentley will be at Bentley Singapore, and open to all visitors from the 2nd to 15th August 2012.

Perhaps the most dramatic of the exhibits that will be brought from Crewe is the actual car that broke the world ice speed record, driven by four-time world rally champion Juha Kankkunen, at 330.695 km/h. The bio-fuelled all-wheel drive Continental Supersports Convertible, complete with the parachute used to slow it at the end of its record breaking run, will be on view for all guests to see.

Bentley is dedicated to developing and crafting the world’s most desirable high performance cars. “There are many unmistakable characteristics that define a Bentley — handcrafted luxury, distinctive design and breathtaking power and performance, as well as a refined and exhilarating driving experience” said Robin Peel — Head of Marketing and Communications for Bentley in Asia Pacific.

“The combination of these characteristics makes the Bentley Brand so unique, and we have brought to Singapore directly from our factory, a ground breaking display that will bring alive the Bentley Brand to our guests and give them a real flavour of Crewe, and how we build our cars.”

Crafting Bentley’s hand-built cars using the finest quality natural materials takes time. Yet, while others may do things ‘meticulously’ or ‘painstakingly’, Bentley has always been about passion. In fact, our entire reputation rests on the experienced skills and passion of our people, handed down through generations, and the fact that we only use the finest quality wood, veneer and hides.

A craftsperson from the Bentley factory at Crewe will be flown out to Singapore and will be demonstrating his skills first hand, from 1st to 2nd August only, using materials that go into the building of each and every Bentley.
