With 40% of VW customers residing in the eastern part of Singapore, opening a new centre in MacPherson makes perfect sense for the brand.

Last Wednesday saw Volkswagen officially opening the doors to their newest centre.

This new showroom and service centre, which was previously occupied by now-defunct local Mazda dealer, Mazda Motors, was revamped to a tune of S$1 million to turn it into a Volkswagen service centre with full facilities.

This new service centre, like the first Volkswagen Centre located in Alexandra Road, offers a showroom space for a wide range of VW models and also an accessories corner for customers to browse and purchase. With a floor area of 93,421 square feet, up to eight different models can be displayed at any time.

At the back of the building is where VW owners can drive into and drop off their cars; be it for servicing, repairs, warranty claims or even insurance claims.

The 24 work bays here ensures that the after-sales team can work on up to 70 cars in a day, complimenting the 31 work bays currently at the Alexandra centre.

For customer's convenience, a showroom cafe, service waiting lounge, kid's corner and a parts counter can also be found here. A complimentary shuttle service between the centre to Tai Seng MRT station is also provided.

Volkswagen Centre (MacPherson) is located at 1 Kampong Ampat S(368314).
