Powered by a newly developed four-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 218 hp, the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman will come standard with the ALL4 all-wheel-drive system.
As the first John Cooper Works model available with a six-speed automatic gearbox, the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman will likely be a hot-seller. With MINI's vast motor sport expertise, the powertrain and chassis has been honed to cope with the added punch as well. Plus the fact that this is one MINI with five doors and four/five seats, definitely puts the John Cooper Works models in another new segment.
