Just last weekend, Burnpavement.com and Munich Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of BMW’s high-performance M cars in Singapore, jointly hosted some of our Burnpavement LIVE! members at an exclusive “Burnpavement Live!” test-drive event.
47 of our dear readers came, got up close and personal with the new BMW 1 Series M Coupe through a presentation by Mr. Kugan Vyravanathan, the marketing manager of Munich Automobiles, and yours truly. Everyone enjoyed the cosy atmosphere of the showroom, the music and good food.
Even the little ones were not forgotten — also present were radio-control cars and a scaletrix slot-car track for them to get their first hand of driving.
Best of all, the highlight of the event: The opportunity to test-drive the range of BMW M cars. The models included the new BMW 1 Series M Coupe, M3 Sedan, M3 Convertible and the X5M. Smiles were seen on each reader’s face after spending some time behind the wheel!
Lucky draws and quizzes also took place throughout the day. Some lucky readers walked away with exclusive BMW M caps and Kozak dry wash cloths. For one lucky reader: A Plantronics Bluetooth headset worth $199.
We even held a Facebook contest — take a photo of yourself with the BMW 1 Series M Coupe, post it up on your Facebook profile and get five of your friends to “Like” it and instantly win a new BMW X6… die-cast model, that is. This contest got participants snapping away with their camera phones instantly!
