The face-lifted 2021 Odyssey adopts Honda’s new direction in having a cleaner and less fussy front end and some interior updates.
At the rear, a larger three-dimensional rear combination light replaces the old tapered ones. The front and rear blinkers are now also equipped with a sequential turn signal lamp as standard.
A new instrument panel with textured decorative panel and a soft pad updates the new Odyssey. The combination meter panel, the high-definition full-colour LCD panel has been increased from 3.5 inches to 7 inches. By combining with an analog speedometer, various information is displayed in an easy-to-understand manner. In addition, indoor storage is now easier to use, such as the addition of a retractable drink holder on the driver's side and the new instrument panel upper box with lid.
With the new reservation lock, it automatically locks the car after all doors are closed without waiting for all doors to be closed. This feature notifies with an audible and light-flash from a distance without having to wait on the spot, improving everyday usability.
Available in the new Odyssey 7-seater is the hands-free access power tailgate that allows the tailgate to be opened and closed with a simple kick motion under the rear bumper. The tailgate can be programmed to open to a desired height position with the press of a button. In addition, the detection conditions of the sensing sensor have been reviewed to support various kick motions, and the usability of the power tailgate has been further improved. The 8-seater Odyssey is equipped with a power tailgate, offering a simple yet useful feature.
Powered by a 2.4-litre unit with 175 hp and 225 Nm of torque, the Odyssey achieves a fuel economy of 8.1L/100km and a CO2 output of 185g/km.
