Neptune’s New Court

Maserati appoints Tridente Automobile as its new importer and distributor in Singapore, with a new showroom officially opening today.

If you frequent the east side of Singapore, you’d be aware of a development that was often the subject of real estate privatisation and en bloc issues called Neptune Court. In a recent takeover of a more distant nature, the Maserati brand which bears Neptune’s trident logo, announced the appointment of its new authorised importer and distributor in Singapore, Tridente Automobili Pte Ltd.

As the fifth brand in Komoco Holding’s suite of represented marques, Maserati sits alongside the Ferrari showroom at 30 Leng Kee Road - partly detached from Hyundai and Harley-Davidson, another two brands under their wing. The other is Jeep, which resides a stone’s throw away at Chang Charn Road.

Maserati is not new to Komoco. Already in Shanghai, Komoco Holdings has an existing Maserati dealership under its subsidiary, Ital Automotive, which recently won the Best Dealer Award in China in February 2017.

Amaury La Fonta, General Manager of Maserati South East Asia Pacific said, "We are delighted to officially announce Tridente Automobili as our new importer in Singapore. Komoco Holdings has many years of experience in the local automotive industry, and we believe this partnership will make the Maserati brand stronger and more in line with its global positioning for a higher satisfaction of our existing and future customers.”

The new showroom and service centre spans over more than 21,000 square feet, with the new showroom taking up 7,000 square feet and workshop area situated on level 4 taking up 14,000 square feet. The workshop can accommodate up to 20 cars with a total of 18 work bays at full capacity.

With the opening of the new showroom, Tridente Automobili will showcase the latest MY 2017 model range of Maserati models from the Quattroporte, the Ghibli, and the latest Levante SUV.
