Liberty Insurance launches Singapore’s Best Driver Challenge, an island wide search for the safest and most responsible driver!

Running from 30th September to 23rd December 2016, the challenge is the first of its kind in the country. To register, interested participants need to complete the registration form available at https://www.libertyinsurance.com.sg/SingaporeBestDriver

Following registration, they will be emailed an access code in order to download the DriveWell app from Google Play or App Store. The app will be used by all participants and will score drivers based on five key components: braking, acceleration, cornering, speeding and phone use. Once the driver has installed and used the app, the driver’s behaviour will be automatically recorded and measured whenever he is on the road.

Then starting from 7th October, three drivers who recorded the best scores in the app will stand to win exciting prizes every week: One driver will win S$100 worth of petrol vouchers and a 1-year Automobile Association of Singapore (AA) Ordinary Membership while two drivers will win a 1-year AA Ordinary Membership.

The participants’ highest two-week score over any period will be considered for entry to win the top three prizes. The driver with the highest score will win the first prize of S$5,000 worth of petrol vouchers and a 1-year AA Ordinary Membership, the second best driver will get S$2,000 worth of petrol vouchers and a 1-year AA Ordinary Membership, and the third best driver will win S$1,000 worth of petrol vouchers and a 1-year AA Ordinary Membership.

The challenge is open to Singaporeans, PRs and work pass holders and participants must be driving a Singapore-registered vehicle. Travelling within Singapore as well as trips to Malaysia will be factored in for the challenge. The last day to enter the challenge is 9th December 2016.
