Aston Martin will have a new local dealer starting the end of this month - guess who?

News broke a few months ago that local Aston Martin dealer, AM Automotive (S) Pte Ltd, is looking for a new owner to care for the British sportscar brand. After months of guessing, Aston Martin today finally announced who their new dealer for Singapore is.

Aston Martin officially announced the appointment of luxury car retailer, Wearnes Automotive Pte Ltd, as its Singapore dealer with effect of August 31st 2015. The move will see Wearnes Automotive taking on all sales, aftersales, marketing and brand-building responsibilities for Aston Martin in Singapore.

Wearnes Automotive amicably takes over AM Automotive (S) Pte Ltd, which represented Aston Martin in Singapore for more than two decades.

Mr. Andre Roy, Wearnes Automotive's CEO said, “Aston Martin is a luxury British brand that produces highly desirable and stunningly beautiful sports cars. We are excited by the brand and its vibrant future — from the recently-announced DB9 GT to the Second Century plan for forthcoming models."

Aston Martin Asia Pacific's Regional Director, Patrik Nilsson, said, “I would like to extend my personal thanks to Dr SK Djeng and to Derek McCully for their dedication to, and passion for the Aston Martin brand in Singapore over the last 21 years. It is important that the success achieved here over that time is recognised."
