The event also heralded the debut of the 911 GT3 RS, Targa 4S GTS, and two limited-edition SG50-themed cars.

The Porsche Circuit, held on 24 July 2015, was a one-day exhibition organized by sole distributor Stuttgart Auto to honour Singapore's jubilee as well as celebrate three decades of Porsche stewardship in the country.

Visitors were treated to a range of informative displays, family-friendly activities, and a multitude of mouth-watering Porsche cars both new and old. History buffs and car enthusiasts could trace the evolution of the iconic 911 model from its genesis in the 356, via 5 generations of classic 911 and right up to the current '991' generation, while motorsports and racing enthusiasts were enthralled by the actual 1998 Le Mans 24H race-winning Porsche 911 GT1, as well as a replica of the Porsche 919 Hybrid that won the 2015 race. In addition, Earl Bamber, New Zealand racing driver and co-winner of this year's Le Mans race, was also on hand to sign autographs and answer questions from fans of Porsche Racing.

Elsewhere there were activities that catered to the rest of the family too. Little ones could learn about the history of Porsche and win prizes in captivating storytelling and quiz sessions, get their racing fix on a slot car track or virtual racing games, or even get a head start on their driving licences and learn about road safety at the Porsche Kids' Driving School! Booths selling clothes, merchandise and accessories from Porsche Design and Porsche Drivers' Selection were also set up for fashionistas and shopaholics.

It wasn't all glitz and glamour though, as Porsche Club Singapore members showed their more philanthropic side, taking 50 underprivileged children from SportCares Singapore in an exclusive convoy ride around central Singapore in 50 Porsche sports cars.

The central feature of the event though had to be the launch of 5 new and very special Porsche models. Most prominent was the hotly anticipated fire-breathing 911 GT3 RS, followed by the captivating 911 Targa 4 GTS. The 911 Carrera S Martini Racing Edition, a limited edition specially customised by Porsche Exclusive also caught the eyes of many with its iconic red and blue Martini stripes. But the main highlight was the unveiling of two very unique models that celebrate the nation's 50th birthday: the Cayenne SG50 Exclusive Edition — of which 10 will be built — and the one-off 911 Turbo S SG50 Custom-built for Singapore.

With over 65 years of history, Porsche is one of the most loved and respected sports car brands around the world. Based on what we've seen at this event, the love for Porsche isn't about to lessen any time soon.
