The all-new Lexus ES model range, in its sixth generation since the model range was introduced in 1989, was first unveiled to international acclaim on 4 April at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. The new ES model range will feature not only the ES 250 but also – for the first time – an ES Hybrid variant. The new ES models will continue Lexus’ reputation as the leader in automotive luxury and refinement, while expanding the brand’s class-leading selection of Hybrid vehicles. The new Lexus ES model range will be re-introduced to the Singapore market after a seven-year hiatus. The ES, which previously made its reputation among Lexus Singapore owners as a popular mid-sized luxury sedan, will once again deliver exemplary comfort, contemporary luxury as well as dynamic composure and refinement in this new iteration of the model range. The all-new ES has been boldly designed to combine a sense of elegance with dynamism. The wheelbase is extended by 45mm for a longer and more spacious cabin. This is achieved with only a minor increase in the overall vehicle size. The ES body is lowered by 5mm which enhances aerodynamic performance and with the wheels set out further, creating a wide and low stance. This gives the ES a sportier appearance and a powerful road presence. Quality finishing, a hallmark of all Lexus automobiles, is applied to every elaborate detail of the ES’ interior and seats are well-designed for ultimate comfort for both the driver and passengers, providing a truly luxurious cabin experience.
