Jaguar is hitting the track again and taking its latest addition in the Jaguar family, the all-new F-TYPE, for a spin.
In conjunction with the launch of the F-TYPE, Wearnes Automotive recently organised a drive experience event to re-establish the storied British brand among luxury consumers in a new modern concept.
The three-day ‘Jaguar LIVE Experience’ event invites participants to learn about and drive the different Jaguar models with professional drivers and fully experience the brand in a dynamic setting. The event was held at Changi Exhibition Centre (CEC) from 24 to 26 July 2013.
The Jaguar LIVE Experience allows participants to experience the performance and technology of the brand’s key models, including the latest convertible sports car F-TYPE, the XF luxury sports saloon and the XJ full size luxury saloon through a unique driving experience provided by world-class professional Jaguar instructors from the United Kingdom. Participants will be immersed in Jaguar’s four key values: performance, style, technology and refinement, while enjoying the rare opportunity of getting up close with the iconic E-TYPE which will be on display.
Seated beside the driving experts, participants were encouraged to test Jaguar’s high performance cars to their limits, while learning about safe performance driving including handling, braking and acceleration techniques, in closed simulated driving courses.
The ‘Jaguar LIVE Experience’ brings to life the global brand direction of “How Alive Are You?”, underscoring that Jaguar makes the world’s most instinctively rewarding performance cars. Mr Lee Hoe Lone, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover, Wearnes Automotive, says “Through the event, we hope to provide participants with a thoughtfully designed environment to fully experience the performance ability of our cars. Coupled with the launch of the F-TYPE, we think it’s the perfect opportunity to re-introduce the Jaguar brand in a refreshed and contemporary way.”
The Jaguar LIVE Experience consisted of four sessions on each day from 24 to 26 July 2013, with each session lasting for three hours. The three hour programme consists of classroom product presentations, driving the newest Jaguar F-TYPE, F-TYPE S and F-TYPE V8 S models as well as the XF 2.0 Petrol Luxury, XF 3.0 Supercharged Premium Luxury and XJ 3.0 V6 Premium Luxury LWB.
