The third generation all-new IS model range was recently unveiled at the new Lexus Boutique.

The all-new Lexus IS sedan is a completely redesigned model, with both the exterior and interior engineered to offer an exhilarating driving performance while providing a high level of refinement. The new design also features the evocative Lexus spindle grille and Lexus LFA supercar-inspired design cues.

And with the incorporation of more than 12 Lexus-First features and technical innovations, the all-new IS has been painstakingly engineered with a renewed focus on sporting performance, agile handling, accurate response to driver input and highly communicative feedback to create a ‘fun to drive’ car to deliver driving enjoyment. In fact, a unique development approach was undertaken, with different parts of the previous generation Lexus IS fitted to competing models and test driven repeatedly for a total of 1.6 million kilometres on the test track to decide which would be the best technology and equipment to be incorporated into the new Lexus IS model.

The all-new Lexus IS will be available in three key models — IS 250, IS Hybrid and IS F SPORT. The IS 250 is powered by a smooth 2.5-litre V6 engine providing 208 bhp, while the IS Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-litre inline four-cylinder engine, boasting of 223 bhp. An all-new F SPORT package will also be available for both models.
